McMenon CEO named in The Manufacturer Top 100

McMenon Engineering is pleased to announce that its CEO Anand Puthran has been recognised within the industry as an exemplar in The Manufacturer Top 100 for 2023.

The Manufacturer Top 100 is a prestigious list that recognises and celebrates the most inspiring individuals in manufacturing across the United Kingdom.

A panel consisting of industry leaders, academic institutions, and manufacturing associations evaluated numerous nominations from various sectors of manufacturing.

Out of the exceptional candidates, only 20 were chosen as exemplars, representing the epitome of achievement in the UK manufacturing industry.

As the CEO of McMenon Engineering, which specialises in flow and temperature measurement instrumentation, Anand has played a pivotal role in driving the company’s remarkable successes.

The company’s accomplishments have been highlighted by The Manufacturer, showcasing their commitment to excellence and innovation.

Anand said: “I want to say a huge thank you to The Manufacturer. To be seen as an example to others in the industry, makes me feel very proud but also responsible.

“If one person can benefit from my actions, I see that as a great result – but I also want to highlight that although the seed of the business may have started with me, it’s a team effort and I wouldn’t be here without my team.”

McMenon milestones

Under Anand’s guidance, McMenon Engineering has achieved significant milestones and garnered recognition within the industry.

Notably, the company has collaborated to secure multiple manufacturing contracts within Sellafield’s PPP framework, highlighting their expertise and trust.

Additionally, the acquisition of a state-of-the-art VA flowmeter product line from Germany, with manufacturing operations now being migrated to the UK, highlighted their expertise in flow measurement instrumentation.

This acquisition has positioned McMenon’s UK manufacturing site among the top facilities in the world for this specific product technology, allowing them to compete with major multinational corporations.

Anand added: “I strongly believe in UK manufacturing and that we need to shout louder about how it plays a critical role in driving innovation, job creation, and economic growth. We are proud to be part of it.”
