Variable Area Flow MeterA6 Glass

Fail safe flow measurement for liquids and gases….

McMenon A6 Variable Area flow meters are low capacity flow meters for both liquid and gas with an excellent selection of materials and scale lengths in a single product family design.

They provide optimum flexibility with a minimum number of components. The meter features a corrosion resistant, high strength stainless steel body, quick, easy snap-in tube construction and a safety tested operator protection shield.

The clear glass tubes provide an ideal method of visualising flowrate quickly and easily. With a range of tube lengths and tapers available, we have a meter designed to meet your fluid and process requirements for low flowrate applications in the field or laboratory.

Our Variable Area flowmeters are flexible to customer needs with the capability to provide the measurement in direct measurement scale, corrected to standard or normal conditions or even as a ratio of tube diameter to float diameter along the tapered tube.

Each scale can be adjusted to achieve the specific accuracy class needed from the application with conformity to the VDI/VDE 3513 standard.

The Variable Area flow meter range of instruments provide an economical solution for laboratory and OEM customers. Pressure and flow control are available with the use of regulators and flow control valves. A simple, cost effective solution for a multitude of applications.
