McMenon Apprentices
McMenon is encouraging the next generation through engineering apprenticeships at our Workington facility. Two assembly hall apprentices – James Dixon and Thomas Lewthwaite – have completed the first year of their apprenticeships. Our new apprentices are Adam Hodgson and Callum Gardiner (both welders), and Alanis Sanchez, a project control apprentice. We realise the importance of giving young people a chance to develop skilled careers. The apprentices are supported by Richard Fell (McMenon production manager), who started as an apprentice welder at the business in 2000, Russell Wigham (assembly hall manager) and Shiby Bernard, chief operations officer at McMenon. Keep up the good work everyone.
