For this application, McMenon manufactured and supplied a Retractable QBar™ Averaging Pitot Tube, designed to deliver accurate and dependable flow measurement in demanding flare air blower conditions.
Key highlights of the supplied solution include:
- 8-inch retractable pitot tube constructed from 316/316L Stainless Steel
- Flanged standoff configuration with 2-inch CL150 process connection
- Flanged ball valve enabling safe isolation and easy maintenance
- Differential pressure transmitter to measure DP generated by the Pitot Tube
- Special 5-valve manifold, designed for remote transmitter mounting and improved accessibility
