McMenon variable area flowmeters work according to the float principle: the position of the float in a conical meter tube is proportional to the flow, read directly on a scale or transmitted through a magnetic follower system. With no power required for local indication and options for alarms, 4 to 20 mA outputs, HART® communication and differential pressure regulators, the range covers everything from instrument purging to steam service.
